| In my 25 years of viewing New York Theatre as a resident, this show remains burned into my memory from the sheer force of the performances of its two leading actors. While relaying heavily on yiddish, the show was imminently accessible to the Non-Jewish audience like myself who were completely unformiliar with the lexicon. F Murray Abramson lead performance was one the most touching, emotionally revealing I have ever witnessed on Broadway. A powerful fable of faith, love and loving! |
